Extravagant, not quite central: The hotel had a grand entrance and lavish decor in the lobby, which gave it an extravagant feel. It was located along the Yangtze river, providing a nice riverside park for morning jogs. Although Wuchang was not centrally located for business meetings, it offered a unique location near the river.

No Air Conditioning: One major downside of the hotel was the lack of air conditioning in the rooms. The thermostat read 27 degrees Celsius, which made it quite uncomfortable to sleep, especially with no air movement.

The location was also great as it was literally on the riverside and within walking distance to the popular tourist spots Hubu Xiang and the Yellow Crane Tower. The room was clean and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom. The service provided by the hotel staff was top-notch, they were friendly and attentive to our needs. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. Additionally, the view from our room was breathtaking, with a stunning view of the Yangtze River.

The hotel could improve their phone service as it was difficult to reach the front desk when needed.
